Malone has awesome staff (vol 2)
Me: Hello! I was told that if I serve in a ministry weekly at a local church, then I am eligible to get excused from chapels at Malone. I'd really like to do that.
Jessica: Bradley, that is wonderful that you’ve found a place to serve in the local church. However, the person who told you that chapel is optional for those plugged into a church was mistaken. The University views chapel in the same way as class. Just as you would not skip class to prepare for other classes, it is expected that you do not skip chapel to prepare for classes. So, your chapel excuse does not qualify. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Me: Well that's a shame. I really was looking forward to using that time to do productive things like studying the growth rate of grass and how quickly paint dries.
Jessica: Haha, I guess you'll just have to go through life without that knowledge:)
